Meditation for Life
Meditation for Life
Welcome to Meditation for Life
This is a place where you can find an introduction to mindfulness meditation practice.
If you are interested in more personal meditation instruction, then consider the 7 week Meditation for Life class. The next class will begin in Jan. There is a weekly Sunday evening sitting group; contact me by email for further information. Private instruction is also available, feel free to inquire: meditationforlife@mac.com.
This site was originally designed to serve as a resource for those Seattle-ites who are taking the Meditation for Life class, but my hope is that this will serve you in some way, regardless of where you live. Please explore, experiment, and if you feel inspired then practice, practice, practice. Remember that true happiness and peace are our birthright, but it takes perseverance and dedication to stake our claim.
Take care! - Paul H. Dorje Choi, M.D.
Nothing is more practical than finding God,
that is, than falling in love in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you will do with your evenings, how you will spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love and it will decide everything."

HAPPINESS GOES VIRAL
A new study just published in the British Journal of Medicine suggests that happiness may be more contagious then scientists previously thought, although just how it “spreads” is still unclear. Perhaps it’s in the water?
